The book shares a fascinating insight into Al Capone's personal life that hasn't really been explored before this book. Well documented and certainly a great read. Great book for a coast to coast plane ride, a book club or just a curl up on a couch. Sally Ling is an amazing researcher and this book is one of her best.
Oh no not another book on Big Al?! No wait there can NEVER be enough books written on the REAL "Scarface" (sorry, Mr. Pacino).
Actually, it's good to see a book looking at the loveable mug from a different perspective his FL. experiece. I for one always was intersted in knowing more about it since so little seems to until now to have been written. Thanks to this authoress, this gap has been filled. And filled well, at that.
